Ah, Inspector Morse. This is the show that made me love mysteries. It is also the basis for virtually every British mystery that has aired since.
The show follows the irascible Inspector Morse and his Sergeant side-kick Lewis as they solve many a murder in the gorgeous city of Oxford. I am not sure what to say about this series other than WATCH IT! This is the creme d'le creme of mystery television and deservedly so.
Inspector Morse is played by the John Thaw who died in 2002 of cancer. The shows need not be watched in order, but again there are some themes that do interplay between episodes.
This will undoubtedly be the first subject of our episodic re-watch so stay tuned!
